A
Message from The Editors
There are rumors afoot
that there have indeed been additional transmissions from an Alternate
Universe
recovered by the space probe Addison.
As Voices maintains the highest
standards of journalistic integrity we have been loathe to repeat such.
However, a FOV (friend of Voices),
who works within the innermost confines of the Space Agency has, in the
interest of preserving all records for humanity, forwarded on to us,
the
Editorial Staff of Voices, and at
great peril to his (or her's) career, several of the texts recovered.
Our Friend
did this with the understanding that we would keep these in confidence.
Upon reading these
texts we have concluded that they must be from Willson’s Uncle’s work
“in
progress”, you will recall being mentioned in Willson's Journal,
the title of which is Bar
Maids Revisited. We the Editorial Staff of Voices,
in pursuance of our pledge to keep these texts
confidential, have included a small portion of them in this issue of Voices so that you, our readers, will not
only understand and appreciate why we would take on such a
responsibility, but,
moreover, conclude that we would only make such a commitment if the
texts we
resolved to keep confidential were of the highest quality.
These fragments
describe people who gather in some sort of public house. The place is
named
after, and
possibly overseen,
by someone
called Rusti. Those of you who have read Willson's Journal will see some
references to it.
