Luminary

A Visit Back to The House

“As we sit here, Brana, I realize what a good home Atlantis has been for us.  We are surrounded by a variety of trees, grass dances in the breeze and the pond is rippling as the ducks swim across the water. Lali had freedom to grow and hone her great abilities without censure. We made a smart choice by moving here. By the way, Sweetheart, The Protectors have definitive proof that the Luminaries are the faction behind wars we’ve been fighting.  We all guessed that right.”

“You’re telling me! All living things on discovered occupied planets we visited, have and do suffer because of the Luminaries!  We’ve known that they infiltrate societies and have been for millennia.” Brana says with disgust. “The Protectors took a long time to tell us what we’ve always known.”

“You’re so right.” I add, “It’s been obvious to everyone we know who work with us at the Etheric Galaxy that the Luminaries plan is to control every habitable planet, and systematically destroy civilizations. Their tactics of undermining and controlling politics, food, water, and education eventually give them sole control.”

Brana lowers her head, thinking. She looks back at me and says, “Luminaries are well versed, and have passed down information that create carnage and chaos with success. We have caused their downfall since we found a way to fight them.”

“Yes. We set them back every time we go to battle. They are quite a nasty species and, sadly, look just like us.”

Brana makes a funny face by twisting her mouth and says, “Not like you.”
She pauses before continuing, “This has always been a battle.  We work with, and walk among these beings and since they mingle so well, we don’t recognize them. Do you?”

“Yes, they stand out when we are in battle.” I answer her.

“I agree.” Brana looks at me with sweet sorrowful eyes and says, “ I’m relieved to know for certain. It’s good to label the fremd, wretched, hellkite’s.  They have no ability to care about the damage caused by their actions. We‘ve known they have a different brain pattern showing their inability to empathize. How shall we go about finding them now?”

“Well, the easiest is to look into the membership of the secret societies our research teams have discovered and classified. Those belonging to the oldest private clubs are suspect. Now that we’re certain who our target is, we won’t be wasting our time.  These debauched individuals are powerful and have blocked good honest people from becoming leaders that would allow freedom to grow. I think we’ve a solid starting place. We’ll re-check as many planets as possible to see if the pestilent buggers are back and check how entrenched they are becoming on these planets. Our jobs of stopping these proctalgias may never be finished. How do you feel about going back to work?  Let’s ask Lali as she will be a benefit to the four of us. Her work on Frequency Five is ended, “ I add.

Brana says, “She said she’d be here this afternoon. We’ll talk then. There’s a lot to catch up on. Since she’s graduated honors from all her schooling and has taken extra courses of interest to her, she’s in demand at sensitive locations. I’m so proud of her.” Brana’s eyes slightly moisten with the emotional comment.

“You are? Gee, me too.”

Brana leans into my shoulder and hugs me.

“Come on, Sweetheart, you know how proud I am. We both have watched her grow up to be a wonderful woman… just like you.” I add and kiss her cheek.

We get a fresh cup of sweet tea and return to our outside table just in time to see the setting sun show off its artful display of beauty.

Brana recalls a moment when Lali was little. “I remember when she was just seven, we were traveling in the Great Plaines. She saw her first buffle, levitated then zoomed over to it, and lifted it maybe ten feet in the air to be alongside her. I never saw an animal look horrified until that moment. Its eyes were twice their size. That poor thing bellowed louder than I’d ever think possible. Lali is kind and gentle, and was even back then. Thankfully, she lowered the stunned wild ox slowly back to the ground where it just stood there, gaping at Lali before running away.” Brana laughs at the memories.

I nod. “I remember that. I have other memories too, Brana. When she was six, she met a boy who didn’t have ESP or manifesting gifts.  They were playing catch with a leather ball and she made it disappear just as he was about to catch it. He stopped dead and stared into empty space.  She didn’t understand his stunned silence.  It took her awhile to realize everyone is not like her.  I can’t help but grin at the memory.”

“She has always been a quick study.  When she captured the highest-ranking leader in the Luminary, everyone was talking about her brilliance and abilities.  They awarded her a notable honor for that feat.” Brana is filled with pride. Rightfully so.

“Tran and Marja said they’ll join us back at The House. I thought we’d check out every place that registers life on that planet, to make sure all is well.  It’ll take generations to rebuild the ecosystem. What do you say, Brana?”

“I’d like to revisit the place. We’ve bittersweet memories of our first days there. I know it’s being systematically reseeded around the entire planet to become  a homeland for people once more. Some aquifers have been found. The Protectors have put a lot of time and effort into this planet and much more must be done for restoration.”

We’re on the porch, listening to birds‘ songs while the neighboring children play in the dusk, when Lali pops in.

“Hi Mom, Dad,” she says as she gives each of us hugs and a kiss.

“It’s so good to see you, Lali. We’ve missed you. And you look beautiful. I love your tan. Your hair is just like mine. Blonde curls everywhere.”

“Yup, Mom, my hair is wild, just like yours.”

Lali laughs. “I want to share good news with you, both. Mom and Dad, I have been spending a lot of time in the research labs and they came upon a huge discovery.” With a pause, she looks at her parents and adds, “ Everywhere we look we see a face.”

“Oh, sure, in the reflecting glass and when I look at your mom.”  I can’t resist.

“Dad, not all are as lovely as Mom. They are subtle, sharp, vague or stand out, often quite apparent. They show up everywhere. Trees, plants, clouds, the ground, rocks, walls, even ceramic pots, all common places and now we know what that is all about. It’s been recognized as pareidolia, but it’s more powerful than that.”

OK. Now I’m curious, tell me more.” Brana sits forward in her chair, looking at Lali.

“Our Protectors watch over us. They choose a good place to view what we do and have helpers ready, on call if necessary. We don’t pay attention to the little extra help we often get because it’s sometimes subtle.”

“Well, I could use help building that garden house.” I love being jocose.

“Funny, Dad. A face in a plank won’t call in the troops to give you a hand on any non-life threatening situation. You’re out of luck. But, we’ve all had the experience of seeing faces and not thought much about it.  Now…when you notice one, say hello.”

Brana begins to laugh out loud. “Yes, the next group meeting in the square I’ll become a gongoozier and stare at the face on the big wall. Everyone would surely understand that. I can see it now, as I politely say ‘hello’.”

“You’ll have to use common sense, Mom.  But acknowledge the Protectors and helpers one way or another. They’d appreciate that.  Their spirit takes on many forms when in the item you view and you will see how they keep basic features that you are comfortable seeing, so we won’t feel alone at anytime. It’s an amazing discovery.”  Lali rattles this off as though it’s as common as blinking.

“I’ve always wondered. How about that, Brana? The big door into the hallway off the large living area has a cheerful face. I guess we keep him happy. What do you think?” I nudge her and grin.

“Oh, you.” She elbows me back and smiles.

Lali asks, “Are you wanting to go back to our old House and check out the planet and see how it is healing?”

“We’ve been sitting here talking about asking you to go with us and join forces. I think it’s a good time to go. Tran and Marja want to meet us there. They’re not far away. After we settle in, we’ll spread out and cover many miles of territory each day. We can then evaluate and measure the healing. It’s imperative to keep track of the progress.” The Protectors and we hope it is ready for reintroduction of small life forces. Let’s cross our fingers. “The place was decimated when we left. Regrowth takes a long time.” I remember well.
