New* Voices Contributors in Issue Thirty

Sara Flowers grew up in Ridgecrest, California and has a geniune feel for the early desert life there.  Voices readers who know the area will find much that is familiar in her poem. Sara's brother, Andy Spooner, wrote the lead song for Joe Diffie's C&W album "A Thousand Winding Roads," which topped the Country charts in 1990.

Chuck Webster is a Pacific Northwest creative photographer who blends uniquely crafted photos with original poems that try to sync up with the visual to create a mood piece if you will.

Three new poems by James Hazard.

Anyn Johannson is welcomed back.

And a Stuff contribution on High Speed Rail in California.
