Voices
is honored to present photos of a plane piloted by Amelia Earhart that crashed
while attepting takeoff, Luke Field, Ford
Island, Hawaii, July 20, 1937. The photographs were taken at the scene
by Philip E. Spooner, USN. Philip served in the United States Navy
during
the 1930's and reinlisted to serve again during World War
Two.
This issue includes two new poems by Darlene Dubay. Her poetry also appeared in Voices 16.
And we link two new music videos by Nathan Spooner. Images in
the videos are about events in his book: Stories from Berkeley,
reviewed in Voices
