Neil
Gravino was
born in Southern California and has grown up there for his entire life.
He
recently completed his undergrad degree at Cal Poly Pomona, having
studied literature,
and has also had various jobs including teacher’s assistant, camp
counselor,
and student worker at the University Library. His writing is influenced
by his
interests in history, literature and folklore, as well as his own
experiences.
As the son of immigrants from the Philippines, and as the friend of
others with
similar backgrounds, his writing features many characters dealing with
the
clash of different cultures.
