A retired librarian, Marjorie
Flowers lives in her native Kentucky. She began her career at the
Pasadena Public Library thirty years ago. Marjorie enjoys
weaving, discussing politics, and when unavoidable, home
improvement. She lives with her two cats, Jasper and Leon. Marjorie Flowers
James Thomas Hazard, born in
Alhambra California, was raised in El Monte where he attended high
school. He joined the Navy, learned to cook, and was honorable
discharged as a third class petty officer and qualified submariner.
After attending college he began working in the field of special
education, where he remains today. He is married to Bette
Ozburn-Hazard, a licensed marriage and family therapist. They live with
one German Shepard and two big Maine Coon cats.
My religion is so big, no
matter who you are, you’re in it, and no matter what you do, you can’t
