GOOD MORNING J. Price I wake at the break of
dawn, coffee on deck, I sit down. My eyes look past the
scant lawn. Dew twinkles across the
ground. I watch the brilliant
sunrise. Crows chase a hawk ‘til’
he’s gone. Attacks, with loud
squawking cries. The hawk weaves, evades,
and moves on. The lake reflects crystal
rays, Wild grasses dance just
for me. Such beauty teases, and
plays. I feel happy and carefree. Birds, bunnies, playfully
rise. Life has awakened this
morn. Cloud shapes morph across
the skies. Another day has been born.
